[Vision2020] 17,000 average!

That's the way the census works and why town
seems unnaturally quiet during breaks. Also why
it's hard to maintain certain types of businesses
in town. Many of the students are just about
permanent residents as the numbers really are
about 8,000 undergrads with the balance grad
students and part timers.
