Greetings Visionaires -
The bottom line is that America has long considered herself to be the sole
owner of the moral high ground. We have always attempted to bring violaters
of human rights to the "world court". We have filed for sanctions against
nations who have committed inhumane acts.
These same pctures that are shown on national television are being
disseminated amongst terrorist organizations as America's dirty secret. Not
only is America being looked at as imperialistic, but hypocritical.
We have lost the moral high ground. Bush is considered the most hated world
leader by people in the Mideast. In the end of June, Bush wants to implace
a powerless puppet government in Iraq. This is not going to improve our
image, It will only serve to verify what people there have thought all
along. And yet Bush wants another $25 billion for the war effort.
And the beat goes on.

Since it has been in the news since January and charges were brought were
brought in March and a general was relieved of command, with press briefings
supplied, I guess the answer to your question would be a resounding "NO!".
It seems as though America can no longer read and must rely on images (which
may explain the run of really bad comic-book based movies being released).

that rapes and murders have occurred. If so, Abu Ghraib will become only a
