Dear Vision2020,=20
On April 3 -- next weekend -- the Washington-Idaho Symphony is having a =
lovely luncheon-fashion show (by Creightons) at the Best Western, and it =
would be marvelous for a huge turnout! Have a little spring fun, a =
lovely lunch, and support the symphony at the same time.
The tickets are $15, $5 of which will go to the symphony (unless anyone =
is feeling like an extra donation . . .) and the lunch menu sounds =
delicious -- chicken salad with apples, cranberries, Gorgonzola and =
walnuts =96 plus dessert, etc. A no-host bar will begin at 11:30, and =
the whole will be concluded around 1:00. There will be door prizes, =
music by some members of the orchestra, and the modeling will be done by =
some local rave bodies (both men and women)!
Symphony is doing quite well this year; however, we are never all the =
way out of the woods (is any art organization?). This would be a great =
way for you to help us secure our footing. Could any of you come? Or =
donate if you cannot? Tables are for six persons, and a group of your =
friends could have a blast. =20
If you would be interested, I have tickets and can get them to you. =
Call me at 882-4899 (leave a message) or reply to this message. And =
thanks for considering the symphony. We are so lucky to have one in =
this area. That night (April 3) is the last concert of the season, by =
the way. At Gladish Auditorium in Pullman at 8:00, or the next =
afternoon at 3:00 at Clarkston High School. The program includes the =
Symphony No. 3 ("Eroica") by Beethoven.
