Dear Constituents:

The House approved funding of $377,000 for the White Pine School
District today.   This was the residue obligated to the district under
HB315.  The Governor addressed this issue in his State of the State
address.  The bill goes to the Governor's desk.  White Pine should get
their check around July 1st.  Congratulation to Daryl Bertelsen, White
Pine Superintendent and the White Pine School Board for their
persistence in following through to assure they received the funding.

I wrote a letter to Governor Kempthorne regarding the problems in
funding Higher Education in early March.   A copy of the letter can be
