Visionaries:
Because I have frequently mentioned the economic bondage of Christ Church
elders to Doug Wilson, I feel an obligation to also note with approval and
congratulations a move toward financial independence. Doug Jones, of Canon Press
fame, has initiated a website devoted to an "on-line creative writing program."
The web link is www.zarafatutorials.com.
While Doug Jones is looking forward, Doug Wilson, sadly - but not
unexpectedly, remains locked in a rut, wheels spinning and throwing dirt. A visit to his
blog site, dougwils.com, is a stroll down memory lane. Doug is recycling old
posts from Vision 2020 - in a format tailored to his personality. He selects
and "lightly edits" posts and then responds to them. How perfect is that?
Doug controls the input and since there is no comment button for reader rebuttal
he also gets the last word. Perhaps I should also offer my congratulations
to Doug W. It may have taken 50 years but now, by golly, he has proven (at
least to himself) that can control a conversation and win every argument. This
probably doesn't rate a capitalized yikes, but it is worth, arguably, a lower
case one.
Rose Huskey
Once you lose integrity everything else is easy.
