[Vision2020] Property Tax Exemption

Pat,
Thanks for a fair question.  This issue is not whether Saundra and I are 
successful.  The issue is: are all groups who by legislative grace receive 
property (and other) tax exemptions abiding by the rules?  The answer is: I have no 
idea.  This is not a topic that lives or dies depending on the interest of Lund 
and Huskey.  All taxpayers should be infested in whether or not their money 
(because we are supporting, however indirectly all exempt organizations) is 
being used in ways that uphold and respect IRS and state guidelines.  I assume 
that 99.9 percent are.  So, have no fear, this is a slippery slope that we don't 
intend to slide down - how could we?   I would remind you however, that the 
moral high ground, by my accounting, is at least as large as the Weippe 
prairie, and there is room for lots of us to be on it.
