[Vision2020] What if..

Visionaries, 

Carl Westberg Jr. wonders: 

"What if Moscow, a town divided, was suddenly, without
warning, invaded by evil aliens from Uranus?...Would
we continue our internal squabbling...or...stand
together for a common cause? Would Doug Wilson and
Bill London take up arms together? Doug Jones side by
side with Joan Opyr? Nate Wilson and me?" 

I think these are great questions that deserve further
attention/discussion. I would love to hear responses
from both sides of the aisle. What common ground do
these individuals have? Under what circumstances would
they cast aside their differences and join forces?
