I agree with Poop Joan.

I agree with her because of the bottom line.

The "bottom line" is the way things are or the way things ought to be.

The problem with today's bottom line is that it requires us to be a certain
type, act a certain way, associate with certian people, and marry the
opposite sex.  Anything different is WRONG.  The current administration is
saying that not only we cannot, we will not, allow ourselves to recognize
bonds (shared within a heterosexual relationship) to be permitted outside of
our bottom line.

To legislate morals in terms associated with an administration's acceptable
interpretation of the Bible is one major step toward theocracy and is not in
keeping with my bottom line.
