[Vision2020] Moscow Chamber of Commerce

Hey - did anyone read the Saturday's Daily News talking about the Chamber of Commerce? I always thought their non-profit status and charter was based upon promoting businesses and organizations within the city for which it is housed. NOT accepting applications from businesses out of the area and promoting them so that our dollars leave our community rather than stay in it. I find it appalling that our Chamber would "sell us out" and help redirect sales away from our community to another area. You can't tell me they have the right and choice on who to and not to accept. They do have the right. I thought the main purpose of any Chamber was to help promote "local business." Not ship it 6 hours away and even to another state. This hurts jobs, taxes, individuals and groups........ and me.

PS - what is the Chamber doing to promote business in Moscow..........for Moscow????? Is the Moscow Chamber a member of any other Chamber promoting us?
