Carole King will talk politics in area

 

Singer/songwriter Carole King will make a swing through north central Idaho
next week to talk politics with voters. 

 

King appeared at the Democratic National Convention in Boston and has been
campaigning for Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry. 

 

King will be at the Grangeville Senior Citizens Center at 6 p.m. Tuesday for
an event sponsored by the Idaho County Democratic Party. Democratic
candidates for state and county offices also will speak. 

 

King is scheduled to give a talk at noon Wednesday in the outdoor
amphitheater next to the Lewis-Clark State College Student Union Building. 

 

She'll be in Friendship Square in Moscow from 5:30 to 7 p.m. 

 

King has lived in Idaho for 26 years.
