[Vision2020] Am I too demanding of Customer Service?

I tend to do alot of my 2-item and 3-item shopping during my lunch hour during
the week. I used to do this at WinCo. The reason I have changed this activity
to after work at Rosauer's is:

Many of the times when I went to WinCo, picked up my one, two, or three items
and headed for the cashier, some customer just finishing their monthly shopping
(with one or two fully loaded carts) races to get in front of me (with my one,
two or three items). In some cases where I do manage to get into the line
ahead of them, they look at me as if the 230 or 40 seconds it takes the cahier
to process me purchases is causing a major disruption to their day. Hey.
Maybe it's me.

What tends to cause this discomfort is that as I enter the cashier's line I
notice 3 or 4 closed cashiers with lengthy lines at the open cashiers. Maybe
Winco would do better by "staggering" their lunch breaks. Since a majority of
Moscow workers take their lucnh break between noon and 1:00, maybe WinCo should
restrict their lunch breaks to before noon or after 1:00.

As far as banks are concerned, I have been banking with Washington Mutual for
the past eight years. I used to bank with Idaho First many years ago, before
it was bought out by West One. I left West One after US Bank bought them out.
I like to do my banking with a bank that maintains that "local" attitude. Idah
First had it. West One had it. I suddenly was reduced to a number when US
Bank took over. Washington Mutual is very locally oriented.

Just spewing off some mid-week venom. Thanks for the opportunity, Mr. Arnold.

Take care,

Tom Hansen
