Bush's party's unity in fund raising is a huge advantage.  Imagine if all 
the money each democratic candidate is raising was all going to one dem. 
candidate who was already the party's choice.  The democratic fragmentation 
hurts their fund raising in the end, fund raising that will not match Bush's 
anyways no matter how they slice the pie or how they spend the money.  The 
republicans, along with their financial advantage, are far a more organized 
and well managed party than the democrats.

Like the title to the Greg Palast book says "The Best Democracy Money Can 
Buy."
