Sunil,
I'm really confused about what you want me to do more than I have? We had no
business going into Iraq to begin with. There was insufficient justification
for it.
However, now that we're there, we have a responsibility to exit responsibly
-- that is to say, we cannot just pull out and leave that country to
anarchy. That would be leaving it in a worse state than when we arrived
(yes, anarchy is worse than even totalitarianism; see Somalia's warlord
"government").
I don't have enough information to determine that the administration
"ignored any intelligence that contradicted their position, and used and
exaggerated the flimsiest claims that supported their headlong dash to war."
I doubt you have the security clearance to know that information either.
You're guessing this from what others without the security clearance have
said? Isn't second-hand information inadmissible? Or is that just in a court
of law, and any other time you can use it freely?

I hope that I've dashed some more of your stereotypes. You'll find me much
closer to the Left on this issue than you might surmise. Hence my comments
about stereotyping.
