[Vision2020] Re: Farmer's Market

I'd hate to see the Farmer's Market leave downtown. It is such a community
festival and the friendship square lends to the festive atmosphere and the
feeling of "community" and "closeness". It would not have that feeling at
the fairgrounds, in my opinion. Is there a way to limit the crafts more and
push toward more produce? Maybe that is already in place and I enjoy both
aspects. The Market could certainly expand to downtown streets or even block
off a portion of Main Street each Saturday during the season and use that
area. It isn't hard to get around town detouring around that area. What a
fun festive community party that would be each weekend.
