<P>Just when you think that a "so called" Christian and self proclaimed prophet can sink no further, he publicly attacks Raul Sanchez. A man that has done a great deal for Moscow&nbsp;and students at UI. Funny how you never see a Catholic, Pentecostal, Mormon, Methodist, Unitarian, Baptist, or any other main stream Christian religion Priest or Pastor do such things without shame or consequence in Moscow. Makes you wonder. </P>
<P>I admit I say some pretty mean things at times, and I should bite my tongue more often. But maybe, if I was a self proclaimed man of God I would try a little harder, at least on a public forum.</P></DIV>
<P>Mr. Wilson leaves no doubt in my mind as to his true thinking when he calls a group that brought down the Aryan Nations Headquarters in Hayden, ID, a hate group. Perhaps to Mr. Wilson a none hate group would have allowed them to continue the harassment and attacks on minorities and gays and lesbians in North Idaho. But what do you expect from someone that thinks Slavery is OK. If Unchrist Church gets any further out of the main stream Bob Jones is going to look normal.</P>

<DIV></DIV>&gt;I must respectfully disagree with Douglas on this point. He offers
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;congratulations too soon. I checked the SPLC's web site, and we have

<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;The university of Idaho will sponsor a history conference featuring Church
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Christ pastor Doug Wilson, co-author of "Southern Slavery, As It Was,"
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;which uses the Bible to defend slavery.

<DIV></DIV>&gt;Full description taken from Idaho Statesman article (appeared on Hatewatch
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;item page):
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Raul Sanchez and Doug Wilson have very different views on slavery.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;The two perspectives will clash early next year when Wilson and Louisiana
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;minister Steve Wilkins arrive on the University of Idaho campus.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Wilson and Wilkins co-authored the booklet, "Southern Slavery, As It Was,"
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;which gives a biblical defense of the institution that uprooted millions of
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Africans from their homes and separated families.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Sanchez, director of diversity and human rights at the university, decided
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;to research the Christ Church-sponsored conference in February that
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;features the authors discussing history and slavery.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;"Slavery as it existed in the South was not an adversarial relationship
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;with pervasive racial animosity," the booklet reads. "Because of its
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;dominantly patriarchal character, it was a relationship based upon mutual
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;affection and confidence. There has never been a multi-racial society which
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;has existed with such mutual intimacy and harmony in the history of the
<DIV></DIV>
