<DIV></DIV>>behind in my stack of newspapers) about a Dirk Kempthorne ordered study to
<DIV></DIV>>improve statewide university efficiencies. One of their recommendations
<DIV></DIV>>was to have only one 'university system' with one president, etc. One of
<DIV></DIV>>the examples was the head of Engineering might be stationed at ISU but
<DIV></DIV>>would also served as the head of UI and BSU. They also wanted more
<DIV></DIV>>community based university access. I may be fuzzy on the details, but that
<DIV></DIV>>seemed the general gyst.

<DIV></DIV>>Anyone? This was news to me, I see lots of problems with this especially
<DIV></DIV>>since we are a rather large geographical area (don't lecture me about the
<DIV></DIV>>age of technology, we can't even get a flight from Moscow to Boise!). I
<DIV></DIV>>wonder if there would only be one football coach =) What would our mascot
<DIV></DIV>>be? Bengals + Broncos + Vandals = Bioengineered Striped Berserk Blue
