[Vision2020] Mike Price/Larry Eustachy

What all of this illustrates is one of the more interesting differences
between the Northwest (or at least this corner of it) and the South. I used
to see Dennis Ericson and Keith Gilbertson, during their respective stints
as Idaho head coach, at various watering holes around town. No one gave it
a second thought. I believe if Mike Price had been seen at a strip joint in
Spokane with a few beers in him, it would have created no more than a mere
ripple of controversy. As Mr. Fulford was saying, it's a totally different
atmosphere down there in the Bible belt. When they refer to the good book,
they may well mean the University of Alabama Crimson Tide playbook. If Mike
Price survives this, he will have learned a hard lesson about living in a
fishbowl.
                                                                      Carl
Westberg Jr.
