Lee comes up with a pretty appealing package--but I don't think he goes far

After all, the glbt community has for many years enjoyed the support and
assistance of our straight allies. Here in Idaho, we offer straight couples
a very special way to be part of our community, by extending the legal
consequences of "unnatural" sexual congress/the heinous crime against
nature/non-genital intercourse to them too.

Interestingly, in Idaho it's sodomy before marriage, but private conduct
after marriage: just hold out for the ring and all is forgiven!

I even have a theme song for the ad campaign--a slightly rewritten Jerry Lee
Lewis classic:

Come on to Idaho/
Whole lotta law-breakin' goin' on.

Contra naturam,

"We utterly deny all outward wars and strife, and fightings with outward
weapons, for any end, or under any pretense whatsoever: this is our
testimony to the whole world."
Quaker Declaration of 1660

<DIV>-&nbsp; Come show your loved one that you are willing to risk five-to-life on your romantic weekend (and do it with a bigger smile knowing that it's more serious than&nbsp;rape time in the big house, and almost ties with manslaughter).&nbsp;&nbsp; </DIV>
<DIV>-&nbsp; Come and enjoy the open arms Idaho is so famous for, knowing that your "offense" might subject you to registering per Megan's Laws, and courtesy of nationwide reciprocity, follow you back home- even if you lived in downtown San Francisco (these laws generally do not consider the particulars of what another state considers an "offense").&nbsp; What a reminder of your wild adventure to the Gem State!&nbsp; </DIV>
<DIV>-&nbsp; The promo billboards could incorporate working electronic scoreboards updated in real time to estimate the number of loving moments&nbsp;that daily&nbsp;affirm that the state legislators are irrelevant and spineless (and leave us questioning their judgment in the other nonsense they generate in Boise).</DIV>
