Thanks for the feedback.

Maybe I missed something in this discussion.   But all that I posted about 
concerning teaching recently just had to do with how to calculate precisely 
what teachers really earn in the "government" schools, as some critics on 
this list like to call them.

And on that subject, I have posted before on this list asking how many of 
the best and brightest at our universities look at their maximum potential 
earnings as an engineer, computer scientist, doctor, lawyer, architect or 
statistician, and decide based on potential income to instead teach in the 
K-12 public school system?  Not many that I have heard of!  Only those who 
are not motivated by getting rich, perhaps?
