<P>If there was any merit to the Jones sexual harassment case, there would have been a line of plaintiff's attorneys ready to take it.&nbsp; Because she had no damages, because she was not threatened with job loss or job-related penalties if she didn't accede to Clinton's wishes (assuming arguendo that her allegations were true), there was no case.&nbsp; That's why it was funded by a private group that was willing to put time into an otherwise worthless case.</P></DIV>
<P>If the allegations are true, then Clinton was remarkably crass.&nbsp; What would my reaction be to a Republican (or Democrat) charged with the same thing?&nbsp; Much the same as it was in this case, unless the party charged had been a hypocrites who condemned Clinton for his alleged actions.</P>

<P>If there's a lesson here, it's that Clinton should have admitted the Lewinsky affair at the beginning; he would have been a lot better off.&nbsp; It's the lying afterwards that sinks you.&nbsp; This is not a lesson the present Administration wants to learn.</P>
