Dear Visionaries,
Thursday, January 30, at 11 :45 A.M. at the University Inn, Floyd =
Cochran, former member and official of the Aryan Nations bunch, will be =
the featured speaker at a luncheon co-sponsored by the City of Moscow, =
the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and the Latah County Human Rights Task =
Force. The luncheon is $10.00 per person.
Floyd brings a chilling and important messgae to Moscow about the =
dangers associated with hate groups in your region, area or town. He =
will address the economic and social costs associated will such groups, =
how they get a toe in the door and how communities can make a difference =
by standing up against hate and bigotry. Questions and dialogue will be =
part of the presentation, I understand.
The City, Chamber and the Task Force deserve our thanks for bringing =
Cochran here. Part of the support for his visit is through the =
Association of Idaho Cities. AIC has done an outstanding job of =
mobilizing Idaho cities and towns in favor of inclusion and diversity... =
here is one more example.
