                        Moscow's Promise Announces Website

Moscow's Promise, a coalition of individuals and organizations that was
founded in 1999 to serve and care about Moscow's youth, announces the
unveiling of a new Moscow community web site: www.moscowspromise.org.

Moscow's Promise serves as a catalyst, coordinator and educator to
stimulate and celebrate our communities efforts in supporting Moscow's
youth to become healthy, productive adults explained John Cronin,

Moscow's Promise, is committed to supporting our community's efforts to
fulfill Five Promises to the youth of Moscow. The Five Promises include:
Caring Adults, Safe Places, Healthy Start, Marketable Skills and
Opportunities to Serve. Moscow's Promise is an affiliate of the
nationally based organization, America's Promise.

Moscow's Promise hopes to engage the entire community including young
people, parents, educators, faith groups, organizations, youth advocates
and individuals of all ages to focus on positive youth development. The
website will feature stories on local people, organizations and events.
The site will also provide information and ideas on how people can get
involved in community efforts on behalf of youth in Moscow.

Visitors to www.moscowspromise.org <http://www.moscowspromise.org>  will
learn about the history of Moscow's Promise, read a feature on James
Russell's efforts to solve a community concern and learn about youth
asset development through articles by Sue Clark, Ph.D.
