  Ben,

What's the point of this discussion? No minds are going to be =
changed. You and those who agree with you will repeat what you've said =
many times before, and those of us who disagree with you will repeat =
what we've said many times before. =20

I have nothing against private education in general or Logos in =
particular. I disagree with the campaign I've seen on Vision 2020 by =
Logos supporters complaining about property taxes being used to support =
public education. You knew it was that way when you chose to send your =
kids to Logos. I went to private schools for my first 11 years of =
school, and my dad and mom were aware of the choice they were making. =
My brother and sister-in-law send his kids to the school their church =
started; their aware of their choice. They don't complain about it. =20

I think public education is a public good, and I would like to send my =
kids to good public schools. If I don't like the job they're doing, and =
I can't do anything to improve the school, then certainly I'll consider =
sending my kids to a private school. I won't complain about my property =
taxes going to public education,. I won't make the silly claim that I =
care more about my kids that people who send their kids to private =
school.
