Sometimes "Ignore it and it will go away" works.  Not this time and for
the 
same reason that doctors do not ignore cancers.

Kinda takes me back to my SDS (Students for a Democratic Society) and
VIVA 
(Voices in Vital America) days in high school in the late 60's in Los
Angeles.  
Sometimes you simply must grow a backbone and stand up.
