II. CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF REASONED STATEMENT IN SUPPORT
OF DENIAL OF RAIN RANNU SOLICITOR'S LICENSE APPEAL - Randy Fife
On August 18, 2003, the City Council denied Mr. Rannu's appeal to have his
Solicitor's License reinstated. A reasoned statement must be given to Mr.
Rannu within fifteen days of the decision. This was reviewed by the
Administrative and Public Works/Finance Committees on August 25, 2003.
Action: Approve the Reasoned Statement in Support of Denial of Rain Rannu's
Appeal of City of Moscow, Idaho's Decision to Revoke Peddler, Solicitor
and/or Canvasser Proof of Registration Dated August 5, 2003.
III. AREA OF CITY IMPACT DISCUSSION
This meeting is intended to discuss the recommendations of the County and
the City, areas of common interest and reasoning behind and implications of
each of the jurisdiction's recommendations. A decision should be made as to
whether a joint public outreach and input meeting should be held.
Discussion should also include statements from the jurisdictions' attorneys
as to implications and process should no agreement be reached. Attached is
a copy of the information packet that was distributed to the Moscow City
Council at their August 4th meeting.
