you ask if Stambler was "guilt" of unsubscribing a group of V2020
members.
Yes.  He was caught red-handed.
The wizards at First Step noticed a group of "unsubscribes" coming in.
They got suspicious.  They figured out that all of those unsubscribe
posts were from one computer (at a UI computer lab).  They called that
lab and (since they knew the lab manager) asked who was at that
computer.
The answer: Douglas Stambler. He was caught in the act of unsubscribing
someone else from the V2020 list.

ps. Such an act is no longer possible, since FSR has since changed the
software.  Now, a password is required to access any account.
