that the 101st Airborne NCO made " . . . public statements about the USA
going to war against "his people"". I do recall you and others making
allegations based on the NCO's Islamic name. I recall news services
claiming that the NCO was upset about being passed over for promotion and
that he had a history of insubordination.
Please enlighten us.

It seems to be a reasonable first guess that the actions by the "Kung Foo
fightin' white guy" were due to anti-Muslim sentiments.
It also seems to me that if you have a Muslim soldier who, during the
first few days of hostilities against a Muslim nation, decides to attempt to
murder a tent full of officers, and then he makes public statements about
the USA going to war against "his people", that the first place to look is
for pro-Muslim sentiments.
However, in the realm of political correctness, the first is allowed; the
latter forbidden.
