The Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute (PCEI)
is pleased to bring an astonishing and powerful film,
Libby, Montana
to the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre on Friday, November 5th,
featuring Libby native and activist, Gayla Benefield, as guest speaker

Where: Moscow¹s Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre
When: Friday, November 5th, 2004
Time: Reception begins at 7:00 p.m.; Showing begins at 8:00 p.m.
Cost: $8 in advance at Book People and $10 at the door

All proceeds from Friday¹s show go to PCEI¹s Environmental Education
program.  
PCEI educators provide free environmental programs to over 1,500 K-12
students 
from Moscow and regional schools.

The Moscow Food Co-op will provide its famous pizza and Mikey¹s Gyro¹s will
serve cold, delicious beer starting at 7:00 p.m.
 
This 124 minute film portrays a small rural town in Montana as it is
besieged with one of the largest health crises in U.S. history. The town
scrambles to treat hundreds that are sick and dying from asbestos
contamination, and the residents are left to wonder: How did this happen in
modern America? 
 
The film "Libby, Montana" has been announced as a finalist in the
Documentary Award Category at the 2004 IFP/NY Market & Conference and was
also a finalist in the Banff Mountain Film Festival. To read more about the
