[PAS-Announce] Palouse Audubon Soc. upcoming events May - June

Hi All - 
 
I hope you are enjoying this great spring weather. If you have been afield
recently you may have noticed that many of our breeding birds are returning
from wintering grounds to the south. This past week has seen a flood of
White-crowned and Chipping Sparrows and the earlier neotropical migrants
such as Cassin's Vireo, Orange-crowned Warbler, and others. Many more will
be arriving through the end of May and early June. This is a great time to
be out birding (the best time of year in my opinion!). Please join us on one
of the upcoming field trips.
 
We also have a very interesting program on the Moscow Mountain Cedar Grove
on Wednesday, May 17 at the 1912 building in Moscow. This is our last
general meeting until September and we hope to see you there.

Phillip's Farm - Thursday mornings through the end of May (11,18,25) - meet
at 7:00 AM at Rosauer's in Moscow (or 7:15 at Phillip's Farm north of
Moscow)
 
Wednesday evening bird walks in June (7,14,21,28) - meet at 6:30 PM at the
Eastside Safeway Parking Lot in Moscow, return to Moscow by about 9:30 PM -
we will visit various locations around Moscow such as Spring Valley Res.,
Lenville Rd., a great time of way to look for local breeding birds
