[PAS-Announce] Palouse Audubon meeting, Wed., March 8

Just a reminder that the Palouse Audubon monthly meeting is this Wednesday,
a week early this month due to spring break.
 
Our guest speaker this Wednesday is Colleen Moulton, Wildlife Research
Biologist from Idaho Fish and Game. She will be discussing the North
American Important Bird Area (IBA) program which targets important sites for
bird conservation and monitoring. In our region, Mann Lake and the
Clearwater/Snake R. confluence are both designated Important Bird Areas and
the Palouse Audubon society has been actively interested in both locations.
 
The program is this Wednesday, March 8, at 7:30 PM in the 1912 Building, 3rd
and Adams in Moscow. It is free and open to the public. We hope to see you
you there!
 
Also upcoming is a work day at Moscow wastewater plant wetlands on March 25.
I'll send more information on this as well as our spring field trip schedule
in the coming weeks.
