[PAS-Announce] Great Backyard Bird Count, Feb. 17 -20

Hi All - 
 
The Great Backyard Bird Count is coming up this weekend. Instructions for
participating and submitting data are at the web site below. It can take as
little as 15 minutes in your backyard or you can do multiple counts at
multiple locations and all 4 days of the count.
 
The results for 2005 GBBC are also on the web site below including examples
of how the data is being used by scientists. This is a great opportunity for
birders to contribute to science and have fun at the same time.

A fun competition is developing among cities to see who can submit the most
lists. Results for the upcoming count will appear throughout the weekend.
Lets get the Palouse on the GBBC map!
