Dear Parents,

We are planning a staff appreciation day for our wonderful Junior High staff
members on Thursday, February 12th. Since there are approximately 80
staff members, we will need a lot of different items. If you would be willing
to contribute something, please e-mail or call me to let me know what you would
like to bring so I can be sure we will have enough food. We plan to set up in
the morning around 8:00am and will leave the items out for the staff to enjoy
during their planning or lunch times. We are planning a Valentine theme for
this month, but I would also like to offer a selection of healthy treats, as
well as, a few snack treats for those who don't care for sweets. Some suggested
items are listed below, but feel free to come up with other items as the staff
likes everything. We are in need of some store bought items as well, so if you
don't have time to bake, perhaps you would be willing to send a store bought
item.

Possible donations:
bags of individually wrapped candies all kinds- I would like to fill a large
bowl with a candy assortment
baked goods: cookies, bars, brownies, fudge or other candy
fruit trays
veggie trays with dip (The staff really likes veggies.)- Store bought is fine.
snack items: chips, salsa, crackers and cheese, granola bars, etc.

You may bring your items to the teacher work room when you drop off your child
in the morning on February 12th or you may bring them later in the day to help
replenish our table. To get to the workroom, go in the front door, turn left,
go around the first corner you come to on the right side of the hall and enter
the work room. Please use disposable plates or be sure to write your name and
phone number on any containers. Feel free to include a small note or card with
your name on it if you want to let the teachers know you provided the item.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 882-4434 or e-mail aleisa@turbonet.com. Thank you for your
help in thanking our hard working teachers and staff!
