work with local law enforcement authorities to investigate the MJHS
student/stranger altercation that occurred earlier this week. We appreciate
and value all of the information that has been provided by students, parents,
and community members. The following announcement was distributed to all
students at MJHS in this morning's daily bulletin as an

appreciate the information that students and witnesses have given us regarding
the person who tried to make contact with one of our MJHS students earlier this
week. One of the witnesses who may have seen the altercation reported that
the color of the pickup was red instead of white. Local law
enforcement continues to investigate this crime, but have not yet apprehended a
suspect. Please make sure that you do not communicate with strangers
at any time, and immediately get away from situations that don't feel
right. Contact an adult immediately if you find yourself in an unsafe

work, and the Moscow Pullman Daily News for their reports in the paper this
