</SPAN>We’re busily winding up the last week of school before the holiday
break.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Teachers have projects,
tests, and assignments that will be due this week, and most students have
visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>It is an exciting time, and everyone is
doing their best to succeed during these last few days before the break.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN></FONT></FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">We have just completed our winter session of the ISAT
Pilot Test.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Almost all students
were able to try out the new test in a non-graded practice session.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>If you are interested in trying out the

size=3>Many students will be receiving small electronic items and new clothing
for Christmas.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Last year we
experienced a rash of missing/stolen items following the holiday break.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Please, please, label everything in such
a way that the label cannot be removed from any item that comes to school.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Better yet, we recommend that the small
electronic items stay at home.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>We
attempt to recover any item that is stolen or left behind, but we would much
rather focus our efforts on education.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>(We don’t make very good police
investigators)</FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><o:p><FONT face="Times New Roman"

size=3>Speaking of lost and found, we will be emptying out the lost and found
closet this Friday.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>It is amazing
how much clothing we collect every two weeks.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Please remind your son or daughter to
check to see if anything<SPAN class=119175622-20122006> they are

</SPAN>You are also welcome to dig through the closet to see if anything looks

huge variety of delicious treats from which to choose.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Thank you to all who donated muffins and
drinks for our hungry and appreciative staff.</FONT></P>

size=3>It is likely that students will be spending time with friends during the

to keep track of your child, and if you haven’t picked up your new edition of
the Student/Parent Directory, we still have lots left.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The cost is $1.00 to offset the cost of
printing.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>They are available in the
office during our regular business hours.</FONT></P>
