[Mjhsteam] Two benefit events

 Two benefit events are planned to help Jim LaFortune, 9th grade science teacher, with medical expenses.  


We hope you can attend both!
 
1.  Dance! An Auction and Dance is planned for Saturday, Nov. 7th at 7:00 at the large Eastside Market Space (next door the Dollar Tree).    All ages are welcome . Three bands will provide Blues & Rock, including MSD teachers Dave Graham, and Tom Garrett’s band, Bare Wires!  Bring potluck snacks if you are able.   A silent auction will be held throughout the evening.  All types of Beverages will be available for sale by Mix .
 
If you have an auction item or service you would like to contribute, please email Betsy  Goodman (bgoodman12 at gmail.com)  this week  with your phone #, address, description of the item or service, estimated value, and when I can pick it up.  Anything goes... pies,  rent-a-kid for yard work, nights at your cabin...  Thank you!!  
 
2. Community Meal and Concert! On Sunday November 22, Josh Ritter, Down The Road Band, Bare Wires, and the Sesitshaya Marimba band will join us for a family community meal and concert at Moscow Junior High School beginning at 4:00 p.m.  The spaghetti dinner will feature entertainment by Moscow’s fantastic Marimba Band, and an incredible bluegrass group from Seattle called the “Down The Road Band”. 
Moscow’s own Josh Ritter, who is an internationally famous musician finishing a concert tour of Ireland, will be the featured entertainer along with Bare Wires on the Evening Concert which begins at 6:00 p.m. in the MJHS Fieldhouse.  We hope to see all of our friends, families, and neighbors at this incredible event.  All proceeds from the meal and concert will benefit the LaFortune family.
