Dear Parents,

Vaccination Clinic - Monday, November 23

This is a reminder that the Idaho North Central District Public Health
District will be sponsoring H1N1 flu vaccinations for students in grades
7-12 this coming Monday, November 23, from 3:30 - 6:30 at the Moscow
Junior High School Multi-Purpose Room. There is no cost for this
vaccine. If you have any questions about the vaccine or the vaccination
clinics, please call Public Health at: 1-866-736-6632.

The consent form and other important information is available at the
Moscow Junior High School or Moscow High School offices. The complete
consent form and other information is also available at the Moscow
School District website: www.msd281.org <http://www.msd281.org/> .

If you have a child in Moscow Junior or Senior High and want to get this
vaccine, please complete and sign the consent form and bring the consent
form to the Public Health Department's vaccination clinic on Monday,
November 23.

Internet and social networking on the world-wide web

We have learned that some of our students are making up social
networking WebPages for other students without their permission as a
form of harassment. We have worked with some students who are being
harassed even though the activity is not happening at school. We are
involved because the issue has started to carry over into the school
day. Please monitor your son or daughter's Internet use and help them
make good decisions about social networking while online.

Jim LaFortune benefit this Sunday at MJHS

Our staff is very excited to host this big event at Moscow Junior High
School this Sunday. A spaghetti dinner will take place from 4-6 p.m.,
in the Multi-Purpose Room with entertainment by the Sesitshaya Marimba
Band and the Down the Road Bluegrass Band. In addition, a headliner
concert will take place in the junior high school Fieldhouse beginning
at 6:00 p.m. The concert will feature Bare Wires and Josh Ritter.
Admission is donation and we hope to see everyone at this exciting
community event.

Holiday Break

Next week is a short week for students, with classes on Monday and
Tuesday only. When we return to school after Thanksgiving, our students
will be taking state required assessments. On Tuesday, December 1, our
7th and 9th graders will be taking the Direct Writing Assessment, and on
Wednesday, December 2, our 8th graders will be taking the Direct Math
Assessment. As always, we hope that students get a good night's rest
and have a hearty, healthy breakfast before coming to school on test
days.

I hope you all have a wonderful and restful holiday break with time to
spend with your family and friends. As always, please contact us at any
time if you have questions, concerns, or just need to visit about
school.

Sincerely,

Dale Kleinert, Principal

Moscow Junior High School
