[Mjhsteam] Groovehaus for the Schoolhouse!

Dear Parents, 
 
A local band will be providing a community service project for the
Moscow Public Schools.  Your support is appreciated by our school.  The
information follows:

The event will happen Friday Aug. 21, from 6-9PM, outdoors at the mall,
in front of the main entrance, at the Eastside Market Place in Moscow. 

Shopping carts, supplied by Staples, will be provide to collect school
supplies for each school along with a collection box for cash donations
to each school. This will be a great opportunity for teachers' and
students' families to get directly involved with the needs of their own
school. (Make a competition of it!!)

Moscow band, "Groovehaus" , will be providing entertainment for the
event, along with a special guest appearance by Moscow band, "Bare
Wires", who's band members include Tom Garrett and Dave Graham of the
MHS and Jr. High band and art depts.!

The Groovehaus PA system will be made available to principles and
teachers who would like to make announcements or provide information to
the crowd during the event. 

We're hoping that besides being a school supply drive, the event will be
an exciting venue for teachers to meet teachers and students to possibly
meet their new teachers for the coming school year!! Radio and newspaper
announcements will be promoting the event, and we hope that
word-of-mouth from all of you will increase the attendance and giving at
the event.
