[Mjhsteam] Purpose of List-Serve

Dear MJHS Parents

 

I appreciate the interest of MJHS parents in these budget issues.  However,
the purpose of the list-serve is to convey messages from the school or
parent group.   We owe it to our members to keep messages on point and to
avoid the urge to turn this into a discussion board.   I would suggest that
those of you with an interest in this budget issue contact the District,
attend meetings of the school board, contact your school board
representative, write a letter to the editor, or post a comment on the web
site of the local paper or a local discussion group.   It is very important
to participate in a discussion of these issues, but this is not the place.
If you have any questions or comments, please reply to me individually, and
not the entire list-serve (and that would go for the comments from the other
posters as well).
