Dear Parents, 

I know many of us and many of our children have warm memories of the McCall
Outdoor Science School.   The email below is from a group hoping to preserve
the MOSS experience for future classes.

Help Save The McCall Outdoor Science School! 



Dear Friend of MOSS:

The McCall Outdoor Science School is being threatened by a pending vote by
the Idaho State Land Board to increase our annual lease payment from $55,535
to $274,500.  It is unlikely that the University of Idaho or the MOSS
program will be able to afford this drastic lease increase thereby
threatening our ability to continue programs in the future.

We need your help now!

Write, email, and call Governor "Butch" Otter, members of the State Land
Board, the University of Idaho President, your local state legislators, and
the Director of Idaho State Parks and Recreation and tell them, from the
heart, the value the MOSS program has for you, your students, your kids,
your state!  Encourage them to seek solutions that will save this valuable
program. 

Show them that the "highest and best use" of this beautiful campus is not
residential or commercial development, but education for our children.
