Dear Parents,

I wanted to extend an invitation to each of you to attend the MJHS Parent
Night at 7:00 pm February 28th . The Event, entitled "Understanding Your
Teen," will bring together educators and professionals experienced working
with teens, as well as teens themselves, to discuss their experiences and
concerns. The event is open to the public, and childcare will be provided.
(We are asking that those in need of child care to come ten minutes early so
we can start our full program on time.)

Counselors at the junior high and high school provided the motivation and
inspiration for the event. They have prepared a press release, which I have
copied below.

This event will bring together community resources that all of us can use to
help our kids grow and thrive. I hope to see all of you there. MJHS
students are also welcome and encouraged to attend. And I hope you invite
your friends and neighbors, including those whose children attend private
schools or are home schooled.

Call me at 882-5857 or email if you have any questions or need more
information.

Thank you!

Peggy Jenkins
