June 25, 2007

Dear Parents,

Even though school is closed for the summer and teachers have checked
out of the building, many things continue to take place on the MJHS
campus. Our summer crews are busily giving the district's schools a
"Full Body Wash". Everything from light fixtures, to floors and desks,
are receiving a top to bottom scrub down.

Curriculum planning, test results, student schedule planning, and staff
hiring keeps us very busy during the weeks of summer. Soon all parents
will receive a mailing from the district office that will include the
new spring ISAT results. We just received the scores and feel good
about student success.

The MJHS office is closed for the summer, but this newsletter is
designed to help you with your August and September planning. All
parents of MJHS students will receive a letter with school information
in early August, but the following information will give a preview of
coming events.

MJHS Office Schedule

Our office is now closed, but will re-open on August 14, when we will
begin taking calls for individuals wishing to make appointments for
student registrations that are new to the district. If your child has
been attending the Moscow School District, there is no need to register.
The week of August 20 is the best time to conduct the Back-to-School
business transactions in our office. Additional hours are set aside for
transactions on the afternoons of August 27 and 28. Once school begins,
students can conduct business before school, after school, and during
their lunch period.

Back to School Business Transaction Schedule

Mon. - Fri. August 20 - 24 8:00am - 12:00pm & 1:00pm

Mon. - Tue. August 27 - 28 (Afternoon Only)

students and parents will be free to walk through the main building.
This is an opportunity to see where classes will be held and to locate
lockers, etc. For any questions, please call the main office at

As I've stated many times, I'm proud and honored to serve MJHS as its
principal. Our staff is dedicated to student success, and our students
are the best. Have a great summer and I look forward to working with
you during the 2007-08 school year.

Sincerely,

Dale Kleinert, Principal
