Please make note that the MSD Facilities Planning Committee will soon be =
conducting a public forum. It is scheduled for Thursday, February 10, =
from 7:00 - 9:00pm, in the JH Multipurpose Room. The Board of Trustees =
will be in attendance, also. The purpose of the meeting is to take =
input regarding what needs to be done to improve the facilities of the =
Moscow School District.
The session will begin with an overview of the committee's work and a =
public comment period will follow. A question and answer period, with =
the FPC members sitting as a panel, will close the evening. In order to =
offer public comment, one would need to sign up at the entrance. =
Speakers will be limited to three minutes each and will be accommodated =
on a first come, first served basis. The three, different, 25-year =
tracks, that the committee is considering, will be posted on the walls =
for your in-depth review.
There are two other important meetings, to consider attending. The =
regular February School Board meeting will be on Tuesday, February 22, =
at 7:00pm, in the JH music room. Following the regular meeting agenda, =
the School Board will conduct a workshop with the Facilities Planning =
Committee. Also, on Thursday, February 24, a special School Board =
meeting will be held to make a final decision regarding the scope and =
costs of a facilities bond measure, to be considered on April 26. That =
meeting is also set to begin at 7:00pm, in the JH music room.
