MOSCOW JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL BEGINNING OF THE YEAR DATE INFORMATION
Moscow Junior High School students have the opportunity to participate =
in many activities and academic groups each school year. This year, =
some activities will start before the school year begins on September =
1st. Seventh and eighth grade football will begin on Monday, August 23 =
at 3:00 p.m., in the MJHS Fieldhouse. Seventh and eighth grade =
volleyball tryouts will begin on August 30 at 4:00 p.m. in the MJHS =
fieldhouse. Students should come in workout clothing with the =
necessary forms. A meeting for all seventh and eighth grade students =
interested in running Cross Country will be held on September 1, at 3:15 =
p.m., in the MJHS Multi-Purpose Room. =20
All Moscow Junior High School students in grades seven through nine will =
begin school on Wednesday, September 1st. Students can pick up their =
schedules beginning at 8:00 a.m. on September 1st, in the following =
locations: Seventh grade in the library, eighth grade in the =
Fieldhouse, and ninth grade in the Multi-Purpose Room.
In addition, a new student and parent orientation will take place in the =
MJHS Fieldhouse at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 26. The program will =
provide some specific information to help new students begin the school =
year successfully. Seventh grade students and parents may come at 6:45 =
p.m. to pick up their class schedules. Following the program, students =
and parents will be free to walk through the main building. This is an =
opportunity to see where classes will be held and to locate lockers, =
etc. Please call the main office at 882-3577 during regular business =
hours with any questions.
