I support the action of the subcommittee and if there is a motion that mirrors those actions I would vote in favor of that motion. If it is separated by bill, I would support the subcommittees action on each bill subject to item #2 below. In other words, if
neither item in #2 occurs, then I support the subcommittee recommendation.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="color:#1F497D;margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo2">
If there is a motion to oppose SB 122 (the Assignment of Benefits Bill – on which the committee took no action) I would vote in favor of that motion. If there is a motion to support SB 122, I would vote against that motion. If this is going to be referred to
the CLC and its legislative subcommittee, that need to happen quickly. There have been some emails about it but no formal action taken at this point. We have been rather pre-occupied in recent weeks by another insurer/surety effort to make payment bond claims
substantially more difficult and complex (SB1200/HB1247). <o:p></o:p></li></ol>
