<p class="MsoNormal">As stated in my prior email, the guest speaker for the joint meeting will be Christine Ashburn, Director of Legislative & External Affairs at Citizens Property Insurance Corporation. Citizens is the largest property insurer in Florida,
with over 1.4 million policies and it is growing at a rate of almost 8,000 policies per week. Ms. Ashburn has been asked to provide a brief history of Citizens, a snapshot of today’s numbers and their impact on Florida insurance from all sources, recent
reforms, and the necessity for further reforms/depopulation as well as what that might look like.
