Folks,

This is a reminder for our monthly Insurance and Surety Committee call, which this month is scheduled for Monday, January 28, 2019 - beginning at Noon.  As you may recall, we are holding this month's Call on the 4th Monday (the 28th) due to the national holiday for MLK, Jr. Day this past week.  Also, this is a friendly reminder that next month's meeting will also be held on the 4th Monday (the 25th), also because of the national holiday in our regularly scheduled slot. We'll be back on track with having our Calls on the 3rd Monday of each month starting with our March Meeting on the 18th.  Also, please be advised that we have included in this email a list of our upcoming Speakers and Topics for our next several calls.  You can find them listed in this email below the Attendance Links.  If you would like to present at our next open CLE spot, which is on our June 17, 2019 Call, or if you have any topic suggestions for the June, July, and August 2019 CLE's, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Our speakers for Monday's CLE will be Eric M. Gold and Stephen S. Asay with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, whose presentation is entitled "Management of Subcontractor Default Through Insurance."

Mr. Gold and Mr. Asay are attorneys with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, out of their D.C. Office. They have extensive experience in handling complex commercial litigation involving insurance coverage and construction claims in jurisdictions across the country.  And they have also both written and presented on a wide range of insurance and construction topics.
