Folks,

This is a reminder that, because our normally scheduled call falls on a holiday, our next monthly call is scheduled for Tuesday, February 16, 2016 - beginning at Noon.

Attached are the following: (1) and Agenda for Tuesday's call; and (2) Meeting Minutes from our January 19, 2016 Meeting.

Our CLE speaker on Tuesday will be Lisa Miller, CPM, who will speak about current insurance industry trends, including possible upcoming legislation or other agency action against bad faith claims.  Ms. Miller is the CEO of her company, Lisa Miller & Associates. Ms. Miller has served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Staff for the Florida Department of Financial Services, as Deputy Commissioner and Chief Lobbyist for the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation, and as Director of Corporate Relations for an Ernst & Young municipal bond investor relations affiliate. Ms. Miller was also the Office of Insurance Regulation's Board Liaison to many quasi-governmental entities including Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, The Florida Automobile Joint Underwriting Association, The Medical Malpractice Joint Underwriting Association, the Workers' Compensation Insurance Guaranty Association and the Florida Insurance Guaranty Association.  We will forward copies of Ms. Miller's materials in a separate e-mail prior to the call.
