Charles E. Comiskey as graciously agreed to return this upcoming Monday as
our CLE presenter to complete his presentation, titled "Insurance Gaps - In
the Eyes of the Beholder."  His presentation will cover selected indemnity
and coverage issues and gaps and some recommendations for prohibited
endorsements.  This presentation will be of great benefit to transactional
and litigation attorneys alike.  It will cover a few of the more critical
gaps in coverage and deficiencies in insurance policies and in real property
contracts and will provide guidance on how to fix them to ensure appropriate
coverage of risks to clients.  He will also address some arising coverage
issues for insurance policies used for construction projects.  Mr. Comiskey
is an insurance industry expert located in Houston, and the President of
RiskTech, Inc. and Senior Vice President for Brady, Chapman, Holland &
Associates, Inc.

Also, please find attached Michael Meyer's draft bill amending Section
713.24 to allow an irrevocable letter of credit as another means to transfer
a lien.  Please be prepared to provide any comments you may have.  After the
Committee discusses the draft bill, it will be circulated to the
Construction Law Committee for review and comment, and then to the Title
Insurance Committee for review and comment.
