Is your roof prepared to handle 110 mile an hour winds? Are your sentimental valuables covered by your property insurance policy? Are you protected in the event of a flood and resulting mold? Does your insurance policy pay for a hotel stay if you have to vacate your home? If so, which hotels? How long of a stay? How much coverage?

These and other questions will be addressed at Senator Sachs' Property Insurance Workshops.

Many homeowners are facing unexpected increases in their premiums; many others are being dropped by their insurers.  Most homeowners just need clarification on what their policies protect so that they can be ready for hurricane season. All legislators need to take a close look at Florida's entire property insurance structure and find a balanced solution that will enable our homeowners to best protect what is often their most valuable asset, their home.

I invite everyone to come and have the opportunity to speak directly to Government representatives about their particular policy.  They are there to give straight-forward answers to all insurance questions.
