Attached are the following: (1) Agenda for the monthly call scheduled for Monday, April 15, 2013; (2) Minutes from the March 18, 2013 teleconference; (3) clean and redlined versions of proposed changes to Section 627.4137, Fla. Stat.; and (4) a copy of a newsletter produced by the Insurance Office of America's Consultant Practice Group containing articles by Gary Smith entitled "Wrap Up Contract Administration" and "Wrap Rate Strategy" which will be the topics of this month's CLE presentation.

Our speaker this month, Gary Smith, is Vice President of Insurance Office of America, Inc. National Accounts Division and is a lead consultant in IOA's Consultant Practice Group.  Mr. Smith has been a co-presenter at the Florida Bar's Construction Law Institute.  He has also consulted and testified regarding insurance matters and has served as an arbitration panel member in reinsurance matters.  He has also been requested to address legislative committees regarding insurance legislation pending in Florida.  A more detailed bio for Mr. Smith appears on the last page of the attached newsletter.

Please try to review the proposed changes to Section 627.4137, Fla. Stat. (see attached documents) prepared by the Legislative Subcommittee.  Because those changes are being proposed for submission to the Section as a legislative initiative, the full Committee will vote on their approval during our Monday teleconference.
